As much as I was nervous about this week, it went well. Work was on Spring Break, so I had the opportunity to work more hours at my internship. Furthermore, I could work in the morning rather than the afternoon. It's a much more comfortable pace this way and I became more engaged in the work than I have for a while. On the way to church this morning, the stratified layers of the sky reminded me of the ocean. The top section was reminiscent of frothy, roiling waves which delved into deeper shades of blue until they gave way into a dark storm cloud. Another Spring Break has started. This time, I am spending time with Angie the wire-haired terrier and Bubblegum the cockatiel, whom you may remember from last year's Spring Break. My calf muscles stretched and flexed sorely as my feet rhythmically hit the pavement. Coffee had picked up the pace and I analyzed the landscape for her probable stopping point: the wooden fence post. Sure enough, we stopped as she nosed it curiously.
